Planning and Tracking Methods (SPM1.1) The course provides software management and lead engineers with a software management knowledge base to effectively and proactively manage software development efforts. Estimating, scheduling, critical path analysis, risk assessment and management and metrics analysis are covered. Emphasis is placed on the methods and value in establishing software development plans. Managing (not statusing) the project against those plans is critical to successful software development. Corrective action processes are described with a heavy focus on risk identification and mitigation techniques. Course Highlights
