PYXIS consultants are assisting in the integration of 6sigma concepts as an enabling tool for Level 5 as well as directly supporting project deployment, process improvement planning and defect analysis. PYXIS Delivers QA Wizard for Improved QA Productivity PYXIS developed and delivered a QA wizard tool that improves productivity of the QA department planning process. This tool interacts with QA planners to layout a QA evaluation plan and schedule for inclusion in the QA plan. This effort was previously a tedious and time-consuming process. PYXIS Delivers CPP Wizard for Improved Project Management PYXIS
developed and delivered a beta version of a CPP wizard
tool that improves the project
planning
process. This
tool provides an Access-based method for tailoring the
standard process and permits user to quickly identify
the activities, procedures, work products and reviews
for the project using a simple query. PYXIS Drives CMMI Compliant Procedure Updates As part of a continuing consulting role to a key client’s integrated process, PYXIS defined the process requirements and updates necessary for systems engineering, software engineering and program management to be CMMI compliant. Procedures were updated to better define work product content and performed process flow balancing to ensure a fully integrated process could be maintained and improved. This increase in sales represented the 2nd
straight year of record sales as well as the 2nd

Conservative projections for 2003 indicate a
minimum of 10% growth over the 2002 sales.
